Hi guys, :wave:

Sorry that I am 2 days late with the thread but LIFE (school and work) got in the way!!

How are you all doing with your challenge so far??
Any obstacles? and if so, how did you overcome them??

It has been quite hard for me with school and work, I was not able to go to the gym this entire weekend but I spent 4hrs at the gym today!

I am only down 2.6 lbs ... but SOME progress is still great progress! :carrot:

I have lost another 1.7 lbs so currently at 179.3 and I am super excited to be out of the 180's!

Hey DiamondAries,
Congratulations! I too love heading down into a new weight range. This week I'm only down a pound, (last week was down 2lb), but I know I've been ramping up the exercise so I figure there must be some muscle weight being added--a good thing since it will rev my metabolism and the fat weight will eventually disappear. Right? At least I hope so!

Thank you! :D It feels great to be in a new weight range because I have waited so long to be out of the 180's. I actually feel a lot lighter and I am happier. I am not able to drop 2lbs a week, the most I have lost in a week was 1.7lbs. Today I am down 1.2lbs but thats still a lot to me. I am going to amp it up in the gym this week and hopefully be able to lose 2lbs.

Congratulations on your muscle gain, I need to start working on that asap.

Well I was down 5 lbs but I sabotaged myself and now I'm back up. This is my vicious cycle that I had broken at one point but inevitably fall right back to :( Any advice on how to leave myself alone :)

Hi all!! It has been a few hard weeks for me. Mainly because of TOM came and went. I am still trying to figure out a fool proof plan to not go off plan and keep exercising during TOM.....anyway, having said that...
I started at 189.
Currently 187 (actually it was 186.6)
I'm not weighing in again until Feb 9th (see siggy below) for my own mini goal I set.
Ithink I'm supposed to be 179 by V-day. I don't think that will happen, but I'll see how close I can get. :)

So far I've lost four pounds. I'd love to get down another two or three before Valentine's Day, but I think that's about all I can wing. I've been working very hard, but we can't always control how much our bodies give up, can we? :rolleyes: My official weigh-in is at the end of each month, so I won't be able to say how much I lost by Valentine's exactly...but my new goal is to make it out of the obese weight range by the end of February (seven pounds--a tall order, but I think I can manage!)

Hi there! Dont call it sabotage! Don't say I'll start again tomorrow! Start at your next meal and don't beat yourself up. It's a process.

Scorpio 1986, Thank you, I really do need to stop beating myself up. I've got to remember that one should allow themselves to slide a little one day a week so you're not completely depriving yourself and binging later. :) I'm down 2.8 lbs so YAY! :hat: (It was 176.4 but I had some yummy bread and that sets me back about 3 days :( but its ok cause I'm back now!) I'm over half-way there, I just need to keep it up. So I'm gonna take this little guy :flame: and light a fire under my A**!!!

PS - I'm a big time baker, and I use duncan hines batter mix as a base for lots of things and I am proud to say that Kroger had them on sale 10 for $10 and I stopped and got a box, then, a little voice told me I would be tempted if I even had it at the house (even if intended for later use) and I PUT THE BOX BACK!!!! GOOOOOO MEEEEE!!!!! :hat:

8 days left!!

How is everyone doing?? I am trying to get over this horrible cold that I have and also waiting for TOM to leave! Grrr!

I have also been bad *covers face* I have been cravingg all the wrong foods and ate them :-( .. Today is my weigh in and I'm actually afraid of what the scale will say, I finally made it out of the 180's and I will hate to see my scale read anything in the 180's - but I know its possible but I am ready to regain focus!!
