I've lost 40 pounds so far
 

Hi guys,

I lost 40 pounds so far. I had the lap band surgery two months ago - when I weighed 320. Nothing else was working for me and I felt like I needed the extra help. Wasn't too excited about having a surgery, but as low as I was feeling, I'd have tried anything.

It actually wasn't that bad. I saw all those Love Lap Band commercials and to be honest, I didn't think it would work for me. But I guess they finally got me, because I called and did a consultation. After meeting with the doctor who was a good guy, I decided to go for it.

It's been an adjustment, but because I've lost the weight so far, I feel motivated to keep going. My face and arms are a lot smaller and I'm looking forward to seeing my feet. ;-)
