3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

I just posted a thread and mentioned that I was "almost" at normal BMI, then realized that I hadn't checked my BMI calculation after today's weigh-in. As of today, my BMI is 24.9, which is considered normal!!!! :D

I jokingly say I haven't been normal weight since birth, but honestly that's what it feels like. I have no memories of being normal weight. I remember being weighed at school in second grade and feeling like a whale as my weight was yelled out to the school nurse across the room. I remember needing an XXL shirt for high school chorus uniforms. I remember having to buy my prom dress in the mother of the bride section of the local formalwear store, because the cute prom dresses didn't come in size 20.

Of all the mini-goals I've made for myself along the way, this is the one that I wanted to see the most. At the same time, I can't believe I made it. Sure, I want to reach my "goal" (whatever that turns out to be), and I want to firm up my body, and I'd love to one day buy a pair of size 4 jeans, but at this moment all that is secondary to this:

I'm never going to back to overweight, and forget about obese. Those days are done! :)
