3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

Back in May when I first started my journey I bought this dress just hoping to be able to wear it for my 5th wedding anniversary in February of next year. Well, the other day I was bored and decided to go through my few bags of smaller clothing I have acquired (friends giving me things, buying cute things on sale for "someday"...) and there were a few shirts I am really close to being able to wear and then, at the bottom of a bag, was this dress. Now, from the moment I saw this dress I knew I had to have it. It's just...awesome. I got it in a size 20, trying to be realistic; because when I bought it, I was a 26/26-30/32, and I figured 10 months to get to a size 20 was attainable. So when I saw it in that bag I figured trying it on was worth a shot since I recently bought jeans in a 22 and my 22/24 shirts are getting a teeny-tiny bit loose. Well folks, it fits. Kinda. Lol. I can put it on, zip it up and it looks amazing. As long as I'm standing. It makes me look like I have a curvy, hourglass shape and I feel like...well, I've never felt so pretty. But sitting down? I can do it, but it just looks, well...lumpy bumpy. So hopefully as I lose more weight it will still look just as good so I can wear it on my anniversary as planned...and if it doesn't fit as well as I'd like it to, I love it enough to spend the money to have it altered. I'm just soaring right now on the high that I'm really doing this and changing my entire life for the better!
