Finally under 200!!!!
Hi all!!!
I havent posted much on here in the last week because I am in full on study mode for an exam that is tomorrow. I started this journey not too long ago (August 12th) at 217 pounds on the gym scale. I worked really hard, went to the gym almost everyday and watched what I ate. I thought I would lose weight, but I wasn't ready for rapid progressions things took on. Every week, as I weigh myself I was loosing a little, and then cumulatively, I realized that I had just lost 10% of my weight!!!! I started this with the goal of reaching 199. I have been over 200lbs for many years now, and I thought leaving there was the first step :) Last week I weighted in at 198.75, but I didnt want to announced that I had reached goal just yet. It could have been a fluke, or a trick of the scale. But this week, I got on the scale again and was at 195!!! So I am super happy to report that I have reached my first GOAL!!!!!!:carrot: I like to set small attainable goals, so my next one will be 185. I will be going back home in less than a week, so I know I have a lot of challenges ahead (family dinners, friends, ...). But reaching goal number 1 is making me feel super energized and ready to take on the world!!!! I will keep on going, and I wish everyone else luck on their journey too. Lets Go!! |
Congrats! :woohoo:

Hi all, I am so sorry for posting and then running away... Its like I did a post and run, lol!
I had to move back from NYC to my hometown in Canada. The move was brutal and the road involved a lot of junk food, and no exercising :( But today, for the first time in three days I hit the crosstrainer again and it felt great!!! I can't believe I *missed* exercising ;) Huntress, Gottadoit2010, Goal4agirl, 2feelbetter, and Courtneydaisey, you girls will get here soon!!! I will be waiting for your posts!!! And all the hard work and the not eating what you want, it does pay off.. And it feels fantastic. Jojo: I never knew how much!! Even the woman at this vietnamese restaurant I go to mentioned that I had lost weight. I cant't believe it shows this much, but I guess it does? I am happy and I feel energized. I don't care so much about the weight, but I like the positive effect this is having in other parts of my life, plus my confidence is soaring (maybe a little too much...). Krizstyling, yeah we did, and we are both doing fab! I am happy to see your progress. You have lost so much since you started. I will do my best too, and I am sure we will have a lot to celebrate in a few months:) To everyone else, thank you sooooo much for your congratulation, this support group means the world to me. I tried to do this on my own so many times, but I always got discouraged and quit. But seeing everyone work hard towards their goals, has really pushed me towards realizing mine!!! Good luck to all of us! |
