Yesterday someone came up and said I look like I've lost some weight, then someone else did too, in all FIVE people independently complimented me yesterday! A silly goal but I wanted people to notice like they always do when I gain.
Very silly but it cheered me up no end :-D and helped me out as vie been struggling a bit.
1 stone down, 3 to go!!

Strange isn't it, how we need reinforcement from others? I was desperate after a 2 month vacation to go back to work and have people notice. They most certainly did, and someone mentions my weightloss everyday !! Enjoy it !

Yeah it's weird, I see myself everyday so I don't see it, I like other people noticing as it means it really working! Lol

I was actually telling my husband after about 5 months, and just shy of 50 pounds lost that I was a bit depressed that nobody had said anything to me. Honestly, I think, that except for our families, and very close friends, people don't even look at each other that much.
Finally, about a month ago, though, my husband and I were walking to the local convenience store, and a lady I had not seen in probably 6 or more months walked past..She stopped, and then said "wow, I hardly even realised it was you. The face seemed the same, but I am used to you being a lot rounder."
I think I smiled all day long.

Grats on your own recognition, and remember..if people dont say, they probably never even noticed what size you were before, or they are afraid to say something cause they feel like it might offend you.
