I hadn't done hills AT ALL before the race. I'd avoided them like the plague. My practice was all flat, flat, flat. I'm sure the look on my face when I came around the corner and saw that 60 percent angle hill was PRICELESS! :D

I knew the town where the race was held is pretty hilly but I assumed that the race course would be in a flatter section. Nope, they picked the mountainous region for the race course! :lol:

OMG my thighs hurt so much I can't breathe! :dizzy:

You are such an inspiration to me!!! I started my own C25K program today. I almost pushed it off but made myself get out there and do it. I put in a little more time than the 20 minutes, but walked quite a bit of it in the end. Did at least the 20 in the walk/jog sessions. Could barely finish the 60 second jogs, but feel better now knowing that it will get better!!!
