Smallest size ever!
 

I went shopping today. Wasn't planning on buying anything (just had to return a couple of things I'd decided I didn't really want) but I had a quick look round and saw a dress I liked. Dark blue, just above knee-length, medium-sized circle neckline, blue sash that ties in the back...
I have a wedding next Spring so I thought maybe I could wear it for that. Catch: they only had a size 38 (european - 10 in the UK and an 8 in the US). I've NEVER worn anything smaller than a 40 (12UK - 10US). EVER.
But I thought I'd try it, just to see how close I was to fitting in to it.

IT FITS PERFECTLY!!

I bought it, smiled all the way home and then when I got back and showed my parents, jumped around the kitchen like a crazy person.

This means that I've lost two whole dress sizes since June. Eeeeek! :D

Makes the calorie-counting and early morning wake-up calls for exercising SO worth it!!!

Hooray! I remember the first time I did something like that! It feels great, and then I went and got several other items just to "try on" and of course I had a shopping spree here and there, but now I'm calmed down! But CONGRATULATIONS! I'm glad your hard work is paying off!

That is awesome! Keep it up!! I was a size 14/16 growing up and I'll never forget the day I bought a size 8 pants. Granted they were a stretchy material and what not, BUT STILL. I was in the single digits. And it felt awesome.

I did it once, so I know I can do it again :)

not silly at all. What an amazing accomplishment. I'm looking forward to wearing clothing sizes in the teens and believe me I WILL be jumping around like crazy when i can stop shopping in plus sized stores. Enjoy your moment :)
