Non Scale Victories
 

I think I had my first major one! Today I went and saw a friend who I haven't seen since I started losing weight (ie I have lost like 30 pounds since I saw her ish). It was a memorial service so i wasn't even thinking about my weight though happy that some clothes that had been too small forever fit.

Anyways when I get down to see her (was like a 20 min walk??) I give her a hug and we chat. Then I am talking to her and she is like... "Something is different about you..... I can't place it. "

I was like "oh.. I lost a little bit of weight"

my husband chimes in.. A LITTLE BIT?:o

Tee Hee, then she goes "OMG I was going to say your face and waist look so thin like you have had a face lift or something, but you know I am not going to come out and ask have you lost weight, because well you know haha!"

I was actually a little embarrassed given the circumstances, but now I am fully able to appreciate how much of a compliment that was. Yay!:)
