Welcome to the 150's, sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!
I hope that making a post will change things for me this time around.
I have been on 3FC for 4 years. In 2006 I lost 50 pounds and then I kinda got stuck. For the last 3 years I struggled to lose more weight - to get into the 150's. I have spent most of the last 3 years in the low 160's. And it wasn't really for lack of trying. I have tried, counting calories and exercised - I even got so mad I put over $400 into Weight Watchers and still didn't lose. I would get so frustrated and the scale wouldn't move then I would just get tired and ease up - might gain 10 pounds and then lose it. Always back in the 160's. I maybe have seen the 150's once or twice but it never stuck more then a day or two. I remember when I lose the 50 pounds thinking, man this is easy - what are all these people complaining about. But boy do I know now. But this is it, I am so sick of messing around and wasting time. This time will be different - I won't ease up and I will keep going. 3 years; I should have been at my goal a long time ago. I am very thankfully I didn't gain it all back. It doesn't matter - this is it. No more 160's. I will make my goal. I should of took a picture of the scale this morning. That would of been awesome. |
Sticking to It
Hi - I am so impressed with the fact that you have stuck with it, even when not losing weight. It is so easy to begin the long slide back to gaining weight. I know I've been there. Thanks for sharing this. Your determination is inspiring.
