One pound!

  • Well, I weighed myself this morning and I am 176. So one pound lost As some of you know, I had gone from 312 pounds to 145 pounds. But then had messed up over the past several months and gotten back up to 177 pounds.

I've officially been back on track for 2 weeks but this past Tuesday I got off track when I had to put down my cat Annie. But I got right back on track Wednesday and I guess everything has paid off because I am one pound lighter!
  • I'm sorry to hear about your cat. I know how painful of a loss that is. Congratulations for getting back on track and your success.
  • Way to go!
  • Great job getting back on track and getting focused! It's so difficult to do that after something as sad as losing a dear pet.
    So, well done, girl!!
  • Well done, and so sorry about you cat.

I have posted a few times about this, and firmly believe that the single most important part of weightloss is the ability to chalk up 'bad eating' days to experience and get right back in the saddle. I think for many of us the reason for failure in the past is allowing the bad day or days to be an excuse to stop all together - so well done for getting back on track, and each time you go off track - cuz no one is perfect, and you will go off track, remember that the important thing is to get right back in the diet saddle the next day!
  • Thanks everyone I really appreciate it. And I agree, getting back on track after a not-so-good eating day is key. The past few days have gone well.
