Thank you all so much for your kind words. It's nice to find a place that is so encouraging! That's why I love coming here.

For those of you who commented on my age... I am 36 years old. I have always been told I have a baby face, so perhaps that is coming back now that I am shedding the layer of fat!

paperSkin, the secret of weight loss is... there ain't no secret! Consistency and commitment. Learning to let small trangressions be small (and not a reason to quit). Small, manageable goals (my weightloss is broken up into 10% chunks - see my signature). Patience - the hardest one for me.

I am still amazed. Twice in the past I have lost 35 lbs and then quit - and regained all the weight. I really did not believe that I would be successful this time. But, I wanted to try - and it worked. I now believe I will get to goal and maintenance. I CAN do this.
