Hey all! I thought I would share my progress so far with everyone! I began 12/9/09 at 350(!!!!!) pounds. Today, I am at 314, which is just past my first goal of losing 35 pounds, which is 10% of my starting weight.
I have been counting calories, and during the week I eat 1200-1500 calories, and on the weekends, I just make sure to eat less than I used to. I also am going to the gym 4-5 days a week for at least an hour at a time. I am doing mostly cardio, but strength training as well 2-3 days a week. Biggest loser night, I stay at the gym for 2 hours so I can watch the whole show. I am also trying to be more active in my daily life as well. Just this past Sunday, we went bike riding 7 miles on this beautiful island near me. The island is 12 miles long, so I would like to build up to being able to ride the whole island and back.
I am sooooo grateful for the support and motivation I recieve from 3FC. I think this attempt would be just like any other in the past (unsuccessful) if it weren't for finding this sight. I have found an amazing group of friends that are there to give me advice, and pick me up when I need it.
Caitybates: if you ever are searching for a vacation and think Florida would sound nice, Sanibel is the island. It is on the gulf side, pretty far south in Florida. Near Fort Myers and Cape Coral, which recently had the honor of being number one in forclosures. Lovely thing for my hometown to be known for.
