No more mini-goals left

I weighed myself this morning and came in at a hair over 160. When I saw that number I realized three things.

The first is that I've now lost over 125 pounds, a big mini-goal. At some point, I plan to update my progress pictures in the mini-goal photo album thread where I posted photos from November after hitting the minus 100 mark. I always find that to be so reinforcing!

The second thing I've realized is that I'm now one pound away from having a BMI of less than 25. That would mean that for the first time since the age of 2 I'll be at a healthy weight (according to medical standards). I was overweight by the age of 3 and reached a BMI of 45 by the time I graduated college. It blows my mind to think of myself not as morbidly obese, or obese, or even overweight anymore. Can it be... I'm normal?!

The last thing is that I have no mini-goals left. Now that I reached the 125 mark the only goal left is my final one, which is a weight of 150. Of course, I may choose to change that to a lower weight since I still don't think that I'm "thin" but it has been my goal for ages.

Three years ago I couldn't ever imagine being here, where I am right now, fitting into "normal" sized clothes, weighing a "normal" weight, having my doctor tell me that I'm in excellent health (B.P. 100/65!)

I'm just... :carrot:

That's really fantastic, I'm glad you shared!

The nice thing about reaching or approaching maintenance, is you get to set non-weight goals. Fitness goals, food goals (such as trying new things), other health goals (taking up meditation, sleeping better), life goals, and so on.

I'm looking forward to your pics too :)
