I don't have anyone else to celebrate this with...

so... I wanted to post here that I am halfway at my goal!!

I am finally back under 120 pounds (even if it is only by a .5 lb)

On September 1st, I set out to lose 38 pounds within this year, wanting 25 of those to be gone before Mid-Feb. I think I am on track, as a little over 2.5 months later, I have now lost 18.5 pounds. That leaves me with 9.5 to reach my first real goal and 19.5 to reach my ultimate, final goal.

I hope I stay on track during the holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc.) But... this post isn't about maintaining weight during the holidays... it's for CELEBRATING!! that I lost 18.5 pounds so far and am finally back under 120 pounds. I have worked hard and I am proud of myself. That is a good feeling.

Hi Mermaid!

congrats!!!! :D :D :D :D

I started at about mid-september at 139, but my loss has been really slow. I've been exercising regularly and have been approximating my calorie intake. I think I want to try EFS or South Beach and see if I can start losing again. I would be thrilled at a 5 pound loss (hoping for a 10).

What plan did you follow? Thanks for the inspiration! 18.5 pounds gone is fantastic!

Bekko- Thank you! I have been exercising 4 times a week for 25-35 minutes (usually level one of the 30 day shred and a 10 minute ab workout) and have been counting calories using fitday.com. I usually eat about 1700-1800 calories a day, but I try to make sure my fat content is under 32%. I have cut out all of my trigger foods that make me want to overeat and the unhealthy things (soda, loaded nachos, butter, etc). Plus, I've been trying to drink more water (which for me is still only a liter a day lol)
