Weight Loss Challenge 4/8/08 to 7/1/08 - Results & News article

  • So, in April, FH and I joined a Biggest Loser Weight Loss Challenge in Milford, DE. The rules were like most BL challenges, and the winner was decided by who lost the highest percentage! Well, FH won and there was an article in the Milford Beacon about it all, and I also got our before and after pictures back! The pictures on the left side are the before and the pictures on the right are the after, and then FH is the male winner in the news article. He lost 10.9% of his total body weight, 33 pounds and 15.25 inches over the course of 12 weeks. I lost 5.6%, 15 pounds and 17.25 inches over the same 12 weeks. Here's photo evidence!

We are currently involved in another weight loss challenge with the same group, just a different location that was more cost effective and closer to home. Currently for that challenge - 4 weeks have gone by and I'm in the lead with 6% lost, 18 pounds gone, and who knows how many inches! I kicked my arse in gear this round, and I have everyone here to thank for it because so many of you have motivational quotes and stories in your signature and the goal album, it has really given me the motivation to keep going on this and be the biggest loser!
  • Awesome job! That's such great motivation to have those roup challenges! keep going girl, you are looking fabulous!

Having a weekly weigh in where everyone knows how you're doing is very motivational to do good! The first week we weighed in, I had lost 11 pounds, and that was the first week I really stuck to my plan. Since then the weigh ins have gone 1 pound and 6 pounds, and we skipped our last weigh in on Tuesday but hopefull this upcoming tuesday will read results in the 260's!

    Thank you for the compliment!
  • Congratulations, that's very exciting! You both did fantastic and should be so proud of yourselves!
