Reached an Important Mini-Goal

It's been an important mini-goal of mine to fit back into my "skinny jeans," which fit perfectly 2005 - 2006, but which I haven't been able to pull past my knees in two years lol. Well, okay, they aren't "skinny" jeans objectively, but they are for me! They're GAP Size 16 jeans (no stretch) and they are very emotionally/psychologically important for me -- I wore them during a *wonderful* period of my life, 2005 - 2006, when my weight was down to 175lbs, I was regularly visiting my fiance in Florence, Italy and I was finishing up college. Seeing pictures of myself in these pants from those years, I'm far from skinny, or thin, but I don't look so fat either. I remember feeling confident and happy and attractive during this time. Also, this is the FIRST article of clothing I bought in a "normal" size store after losing 90-ish lbs; I remember creeping into The Gap, expecting to be run out by some 110lb Manhattanite holding a shotgun...

BUT here is the great part -- when I was wearing these pants in 2005 - 2006, I was lighter than I am now; I was 175lbs. I haven't weighed myself in WEEKS (and I won't til after my wedding) but I'm pretty sure I'm much more than 175lbs now. But my arms/body are MUCH More toned now than they were during those years :D So I'm back to that jeans size but I look tighter and am stronger, even if I weigh more.

So... yeah! That's my mini-goal :)

Congratulations!
I think that these are the best types of goals - it's so much more fulfilling to get a physical, tangible result than a number on a scale.
