So, we're in the middle of our first heatwave of the season, and it has been unbearably hot the past couple days. Weather like this has always been an excuse to fall off the wagon and head straight for the ice cream. This time around something has changed. I can't quite figure out whether I've come to my senses, or my brain is fried, but I am happy to have discovered that I did not use the heat as an excuse to eat! As a matter of fact, I actually ate less than I should have for the past 2 days. I know that's not a good idea in general, but it's soooo unlike me that I thought it was a good thing!

Agreed, I am experiencing this heat wave too and anything I put into my mouth has been very light. I had an iced coffee and that was almost too filling for me. yay for the heat!! (wait did I just say that?) LOL.

Yeah that heat is hitting us too. I am in Northern KY near Cincinnati, OH and it has been in the 90's here the last couple of days. hard to image we had such an awful winter and less then 3 months ago we were all under mass snow. I love summer I just wish it could stay in like the high 70's the humidity around here is awful in the Ohio Valley. I just can't wait till next summer hopefully I am much skinnier and I can wear less clothing and not be so hot.
