Default Down 30 pounds and on a roll

The scale has been quite flat lately, but it has been moving this week. Today I popped down another pound and have lost 30 pounds altogether. Hopped right over my halfway point. I expect I'll bouce back up a little and then return before dropping from here, but I'm excited.

It has been so long since I've seen these numbers that I don't even believe them yet. I keep thinking I weigh 10 pounds more than I do. I may set my goal lower at some point but I wanted something in normal BMI range that I felt was definitely achievable.

From April '07 to Septemberish I lost 14 pounds doing WW myself. Then I just maintained until mid-December when my husband was told to go on South Beach. I've lost the other 16 pounds since Dec 11 on South Beach with him.

With the exception of a few close friends whoa are also working on their weight and health, no one has independently commented on noticing any change. (Although there was one week when several people commented on my glassess or hair. I think they knew something was different - just not what.)

This site has been a tremendous source of inspiration and information. I've been a fairly quiet member but very active reader. Thanks everyone for sharing.

Congrats in 30lbs lost! I've only lost 5 lbs but it's amazing to see the scale get lower. Just this morning I stood on it, didn't believe it, so I got off and got back on. It said the same thing. I am at the same point, I put my goal weight at 160 because I know it's attainable, once I hit that I will evaluate and see if I want to lose more. Good job!!
