So it's Wednesday morning, which means time to officially record the weight.
I was kinda worried b/c I went out to eat this weekend with the hubby and I ordered a steak with mac and cheese and onion rings!!!!! eeek! and it came with a small dessert on the side (applebees trio)... But I was EXCEPTIONALLY good all the other days and for the rest of that day too... But then I had a family bday party on Sunday and went a tad crazy... the old Jen would have been way WORSE, but I still wasn't great.
But I had been doing good, the scale had been moving all week, it just stalled a bit on Sat, Sun, and Mon... And then I started my TOM last night... I thought I was DOOMED.
Get on the scale today.... MINUS 5.2 POUNDS!
Total weight loss over two weeks: 10.6 pounds. YAY for ME!
And I've been eating good, wholesome foods-- lots of fruits and veggies, only doing whole grains... I feel GOOD and I feel satisfied most of the time. I don't feel like I'm being deprived b/c I can finally shop for, make, and cook up things that *I* like for once and I FINALLY feel like this is something that is doable for the rest of my life!
Whew. I kinda squeaked when I saw the number this morning!
(oh, and hubby lost another 2 pounds too this week! Hey, as long as he's losing something I don't mind! I'd actually rather have him tail me than be doing better than me!
