Huge Achievement
 
Hey girls...
I haven't posted here in over a year. But a lot has happened in that time so I thought I'd post an update.

I started out at 270 before I had my gastric bypass (July 2005)
After about 15 months, I got down to 145-150 where I still am today. I have maintained this weight for over a year now. Haven't gained any back!! :carrot:

I am very motivated to start working out regularly again and get in lots more protein. My ultimate goal is undetermined, but I'm aiming for 120 pounds which is 30 more pounds to lose.

It's good to be back (although I wasn't a huge poster before) and I hope to contribute a lot to the forum, now that I've been through most of the weight loss journey.

Wooohooo!!! Congrats to you Missy!!! That is a HUGE achievement. :congrats: and I hope you post here more often.

Thanks girls! I was on this forum CONSTANTLY before and for a while after my surgery. I was a big lurker, but didn't post much. I didn't feel like I had much to contribute,KWIM? But now I do, and I hope I can help some people going through it. AND.....I could use the support for my diet and exercise program, too ;)

Thanks......I will be posting a lot more often now. I was in a "funk" for a while...not putting on any weight or anything but just kind of "eh" about working out. Never got off my food plan during that time though, so thank God for that!
Now that I'm motivated again I'll be posting a lot more!
