Finished my 1st Half-Marathon
Hi,
I just wanted to tell everybody about my accomplishment of finishing my first half marathon this past weekend. My time was slow at 3 hours and 23 minutes, but I am glad to have to been able to finish and just say that I was able to finish a half-marathon. Running has always been difficult for me, so this has been quite an accomplishment for me. |

Congratulations! I recently discovered the fun of long distance running myself, so know what it takes to train for and run a half marathon - no matter what the time, you are doing more than most folks out there can or will do, so celebrate your success! :carrot:

Congratulations hun!! I dont think i could ever run half a marathon!! I hate runnin!! I mean i might start to when im a bit more fit!! WELL DONEE!!!! It doesnt matter weather it took u a few hours, AT LEAST YOU DONE IT!!!!!!! :carrot:Yay!

I did my first half at the beginning of September and it was a great feeling! You should join us in the Cool Runners thread in the Exercise forum -- lots of good running talk in there! |
