very small victory, but i'm proud. (:

  • hey guys! i haven't posted in quiet awhile since my intro post.
A lot of things have come up that have prevented me from dieting or even attempting to lose the weight. I think I actually shot up past 295 at one point a few weeks ago. I got the chance to start over as of yesterday. I've been sticking to 1,500 calories a day and doing a 3 mile brisk walk every day. It's only day two and I'm down about 2 pounds!

The exercise makes me feel amazing. It gives me more energy and my attitude has improved during the day. More than anything, I'm very pleased with myself that I'm actually doing this.

So it's been a small victory on the scale but it's been a huge victory with the battle of me vs. myself.

I want to keep doing this. And I know that I'll get there soon.

Just thought I'd drop by and say hi.
  • Glad you are back. Keep up the good work!

    Way to go!

I agree that a big part of the victory is changing how we think about weight loss and in changing our mind set about it. We have to know we can do it before we can really do it.

Good luck with the rest of your journey.
