10% is gone
I can't quite believe it, but 10% is really gone. I've been bouncing up and down in the same 10 pound area for years now and had convinced myself that I couldn't get below 150. But after going through TOM, the scale (and my belt) really seems to be showing I've actually dropped 16 lbs.
I think I've found something I can really live with--basically just eating whole foods (yeah, it does take tons of planning), eating less (than a typical construction worker), and moving my butt--because I'm feeling very energetic and don't feel ravenously hungry. The only person who has noticed any change is my younger daughter, who said "Your sides don't seem so big," but I am excited and just had to share! |
Congratulations on both the weight loss and the finding something you can live with. That's so critical to success.

Thanks! I'm feeling very optimistic right now about this being a whole new way of living.

Congratulations - that's a big achievement!

Go you!

Gosh - that is great!! You must feel soooo great having beat that old belief you held yourself too for many years (the one where we tell ourselves we can't get below X number of pounds). Awesome job!! It's very empowering to learn there's others out there with similarities that overcome a 'plateau'. Congrats!!!

That's great! It really is so simple when we can find something do-able. Good job.
