cynnymynn -vs- fast food jones!!!
Was having a really rough day at work, and the thought of chowing down on my lunch hour (I work at a university, and not only do we have a huge food court at the student center, but Taco Bell, Dairy Queen, and two Chinese restaurants are five minutes away by car) was SOOOOO tempting.
Fortunately, I was wearing comfortable shoes today. When my lunch hour came around, I walked out of the office door, passed my car, and just kept walking for most of the hour! Believe me, for me, this is MAJOR progress! :carrot: |
Good job!!! You should be very proud of yourself. It is so easy to want to give in to food.. I know, that is probably why we are all on these diets haha.:eating2:
I feel your pain, last night we had a really stressful night with the puppy.. he got a hold of some chocolate.. he had more chocolate in the last 9 days than I have.. that is sad.. anyway, I almost said screw it and ate something bad, but I didn't give in.. makes you feel good when you get up in the a.m. and realize you made it through the night and didn't die because you didn't have that one thing you really wanted. Keep it up!:D |
you should be very proud of yourself. It's not easy saying no to all that junk...especially when you've had a trying day. may this be the first of many successes to come your way.

That's a great victory. Keep up the good work.
