Back at it :) 20 pounds without working out.

So about two years ago? Three? I joined this website at the young age of 16 in the hopes of losing weight. I did. I lost 80 pounds from 266. But somewhere along the way, I got greedy. You know, you taste success and it's just not enough? Well a couple years, a whole lot of stuff later, I went back up to around 220 (give or take).
Well this year I once again got tired of what I was seeing, how I felt, etc, etc. Except the difference between this time and the last? I knew there were problems I had to face that I hadn't before. Previously, I was just in this to lose weight. Health be damned, I was getting skinny. When I started trying it again I realized that was NOT the right way to go; I developed some pretty unhealthy habits because of that mindset (that I still struggle with to this day) and realize I have to face those right on if I want this to work out and stick.
So far I've lost about 23 pounds over three months. Yes THREE. And you know what? I don't mind! There is, and should be, no rush in doing this thing, guys.
Now onto the pictures and then after them I'll ramble some more:
Before (these are the only good pics I could find at me being about 220 but these are old, still, I looked the same):

After (my bathroom is a mess and in one of these pictures my cat decided to wander in, and I just woke up so I looked a mess, hence the squiggles):

To close this semi-uplifting post I'd like to say how I managed even this. I watch what I eat. And not obsessively, either. I shoot for 1,200 since I don't *workout* but if I go over by 100 or so? No big deal. If I'm hungry and I've eaten all my calories, I still eat, I'll have a yogurt or a pudding or fruit, whatever , but I've also really gotten in the hang of realizing when I'm *hungry* or just *bored*.
I eat FOOD. Before I ate frozen meals, low-cal, whatever, whatever. Now I eat real food and it actually makes me feel full and satisfied, not craving to eat a few minutes later.
And when I say "I don't exercise" I don't mean I sit on my butt all day watching television or the like. I clean a lot. I get up I walk around. I recently moved into a house with some steep-freakin' stairs and I'll go up and down those suckers all day if I have nothing to do. I move around, at least, and if I have to go shopping I'll peruse the isles if I don't have to be somewhere because standing and looking is better than sitting and watching. I'll chase my cat around, etc.
Eventually I'd like to start slowly working out again, I have a big booty and I don't want to be disproportionate (my waist seems to be doing a really weird thing where it's getting skinny and my butt is staying huge, this time around).
But losing weight doesn't have to be *rough*. Is it hard? Well yeah but you don't have to suffer to do it!
