  • I never in a million years thought I would post these but I have just been organizing them all so decided to go ahead! You can see what I mean that I am all boobs and stomach LOL and why the surgeon will have to help with that part!!

The first is at approx. my highest weight ever... 306 pounds, yikes.

Next is just a facial shot taken in June 2012 at 275 pounds.

In July I started getting serious about this losing weight and getting healthy stuff.

The following three photos were taken in early August 2012 at 262 pounds

Next come 11-4-12 at 242 pounds

    Next comes 11-25-12 at 239

    Then 12-23-12 at 232

And now.... I honestly don't think it is my imagination that I have become quite a bit smaller in the past couple months even though my weight loss has stalled badly... wondering if others can see it or if it is just wishful thinking on my part. I am only 3 pounds lighter here than in the previous photo. BTW my doctor commented on how skinny my arms and legs are... LOL I could not believe it when I just now looked at my arm in the first and last photo!

    Here I am 2-3-13 at 229 pounds

Now I just have to decided if I am brave enough to hit "Submit" LOLOL... oh why not? Here goes

  • Misti, I definitely see a difference, particularly in your arms and legs. I think it's the paper towel theory. You know how when you first start using paper towels off a roll it doesn't make much difference in circumference? But then, when you start using more and more, even one paper towel will make a difference. I think you've reached that stage where a loss of just a few pounds shows now. Ain't that cool?
  • Thanks, Garnet! I have suspected it was all the working out and gaining muscle, but these photos seem to bear it out... of course I want to believe that LOL so glad you can see a difference also. And yes, it's cool LOL.
  • I love the paper towel analogy! Congratulations Misti- you look amazing! I always admire those who are bold enough to post pics- it's such an inspiration!! Congratulations and best of luck as you continue your journey!!! Thanks again!
  • Definitely a huge change in body shape. What amazed me even more is that you also look increasingly younger.
  • Congrats!!!

These pictures are great! Thank you for posting them!
  • Misti! First, congrats on having the courage to post these...I know I'm going to have to really talk myself into it when I get to that point. Second, WOW! You are looking great, seriously. I understand the part about certain parts of your body cooperating with weight loss and other parts just being bigger because that's just how they are. I think everyone has an area like that.

The difference in your face is particularly awesome. Your attitude to keep going even when the lbs arent budging has been a huge inspiration to me...so thank you!
  • You look fantastic Misti!!!
  • Wow! You look so great! Such an inspiration!
  • Yes, definitely can tell the difference. Thank you so much for being brave enough to share the pictures. For some reason, seeing the pictures everyone posts just helps me immensely -- especially since I seem to be on some kind of plateau and feel that I'll never, ever, possibly, ain't-going-to-happen lose another pound. I agree that you de-aged as you got thinner. I do enjoy your posts so much and appreciate your sharing.
  • Misti I admire all your hardwork and how brave you are!
I am an awe of you taking all the pictures and documenting your journey.
I will freely admit I try to erase any memories that cross my mind of how I looked before..I cringe at the mere thought.
    Kudos to you !!!
  • Oh Misti. There is alot of differences over the time period. You look AWESOME and I can see the happiness in your very slender face in the last set of pictures. You have made a difference and posting these pictures shows us that we can make the same difference. I am soooooo happy for you. You have proof that it works right in your mirror and camera lens!

I took some Before pictures a few days ago and cannot wait to see any kind of difference when I get my 10% loss out the door.

Gosh.. you are a gorgeous woman. You give me hope!
  • Wow!! That's so inspiring! You were beautiful to begin with, but you look so much younger as you get smaller! Wonderful work!
  • Your face shows so much difference too, it was round and now it is long. You look great!
  • WOW...Such an inspiration. You were pretty to start with, but look at you now

    on the awesome success
