The first 20 pounds... can you see it?
 

I have a picture of myself at my absolute highest weight that I've recently started keeping on the fridge as motivation.

Well, I was at the beach this weekend and my partner and I took a pic together, and I compared it to my start pic. This most recent pic represents a 20 pound loss, and though I'm not able to tell a difference in the mirror, looking at the pics side by side, I'm able to see a slight difference... mostly in my face.

My partner is also working on being healthier... she was also at her high weight in the first pic (about 218-220ish) and in the second pic, she's about 198.

(as an aside: I'm doing WW [I joined 4 weeks ago], and while she isn't doing WW officially, she is using some of the stuff I have learned and shared as a guide for her own food choices and behaviors... and since I do most of the cooking and grocery shopping, she doesn't have much choice... :D)

Anywhoo... this is my first time posting pics, so I hope this works.


The first pic is me at 326 in December '09... the second pic was me this past Saturday at 306. (I'm the one on the left in both pics)
