If somebody had told me a year ago that one year later I'd still not be at goal, I might have just given up in frustration. Which would be a pity, because then I would not have anything to report today...
The first picture is Valentine's day 2008, a couple of months into my current lifestyle change. I already had lost some weight, so I was around 180lbs here. As pictures from this time go, this is a pretty flattering one. Please also note my former concept of "portion control" here...
(I didn't eat all of it, but I had some chocolate-dipped strawberries and ice cream for dessert...)
Second pic is from two days ago, at around 155lbs. I'm not at goal yet, but I was stoked to see the change, even with "only" a 25lbs difference. I'm glad I didn't give up, and I'm determined to keep going - thanks in very large part to this wonderful community here. Thanks, chickies!
