WOW, you ladies never fail to be the greatest source of support through all of this. Seriously, I hate to sound like such a cornball, but I feel like I can't even truly tell you all how much it means to me to get so much positive feedback... I've been fat my whole life, and really have never been told that I was pretty or beautiful (not that I would have believed it anyways!). And to be told that I could possibly be inspiring to someone else's weight loss efforts... Well, that is the greatest compliment than I could ever be given. (Me! A weight loss role model! It just seems ludicrous, LOL.) From the bottom of my heart, thank you everyone!!
recidivist - LOL, I'm not gonna lie, I think buying new clothes has been one of my favorite things about this whole thing... Cuz I REALLY do love clothing! You shouldn't be giving me permission to go out and buy clothes, because I guarantee you I'd buy out the entire store if I could!
jahjah1223 - You're right! I really do! Though it's nice to have the somewhat looser jeans for now, since really formfitting ones probably wouldn't fit over the long-johns, LOL, and I really do need those to keep warm (especially since I have less "insulation" now, ha.) But I'm anxious to know if I can squeeze into the next size down!
stellarwbz - It's a long story, so I PMed you, lol!
Lori529 - Hehe, I do feel very lucky to be so tall, too! Right now I am wearing size-12 jeans, but as you can see they're starting to get a bit saggy. I think I might be close to a size 10, but it's been a couple months since I've sized myself--the last pair of jeans I bought was around Thanksgiving, and I've mostly gotten through the in-between stages by taking in my jeans myself, which saves lots of money but doesn't tell me what size I am, ha. But yes, I think I'm almost a 10, which is pretty close to what I want. Because of my height, I think I'd look too thin in a size 6 or lower, but I'd love to wear an 8.
