I love the spaghetti squash as well. I put a couple sprintz of spray butter and sprinkle it with truvia. It's a nockoff version of acorn squash filled with butter and brown sugar!

Also, tomatoes, they are heavy so you don't have to eat as much!

Hi guys! I'm MRC thread snooping, looking for information for my daughter, who wants to lose 10-12 lbs. I'm doing Ideal Protein, and it's working well for me, but it's too expensive to have 2 of us doing it! Anyway, I'm not sure if the ingredients in the recipes I'm about to lead you to are allowed on your diet, but I was not a fan of veggies before starting IP. Now, after trying some of the recipes others before me have invented, I'm a huge fan! Check out "Fun with veggie purees!" under the IP threads, and once you make them and see how easy and delicious they are , maybe your creative juices will flow! Good luck!

We can have tomatoes but no cooked tomatoes only raw

You'll Probably Change

I think that if you try the approved vegetables in different ways, you may find that you like veggies, just not the way they were being prepared. I thought I hated spinach until I went to one restaurant, tried sauteed spinach, and loved it. I asked the chef how he made it and he said he carmelized onions in olive oil, added garlic and then sauteed it down. Now, I cannot have cooked onions but love spinach now.

I find I like cooked veggies better than raw, but everyone is different. If you have a Ruby Tuesday near you, they have a lot of different veggies as sides, including spagehtti squash, so you can try it there.

I have a friend who is just like this with her veggies. She was told a secret about cauliflower! If you steam it, add some sprays of I Can't Believe it's Not Butter, chives, pepper and mash it up...its just like eating MASHED POTATOES. Yum. Melt some cheese in it for cheesy potatoes.
Also. PEPPERS: Green, Red, Orange.........this does NOT make a difference what-so-ever. Every one of those peppers are exactly the same in nutritional value.
