I have more energy and feel less hoplessness. I suffer from depression so this is a big point for me.
I can carry the groceries from the bus stop and up the hill to my house without having to take breaks.
I can do men style push-ups.
I always dreaded gym class in High School, and now I somewhat like being active.
Now, that I've build an okay fitness foundation I can start thinking about doing acitivites like martial art, which I've wanted to try, but haven't had the fitness stamnia for.

Went on an outing today and carried my 6-year-old daughter on my hip for about 30 minutes without getting winded!

I, too, suffer from depression. I had been on SSRI antidepressants/antianxiety meds since 2001 or 2002-- and this spring after having lost most of my weight, I felt well enough (more energetic, less lethargic, sad, and hopeless) to wean myself off of them. I have now been antidepressant free since March 2011! This is a big deal to me, as I am now trying to get pregnant, and I really wanted to be off my antidepressants during pregnancy. :)

My boyfriend told me today that he can tell I'm loosing weight. He said it is most noticeable in my face. That was nice to hear, especially since he's never complained about my weight. ;)

Salad

I had a salad today with only oil and vinegar - and it actually tasted pretty good. For me, this is huge! Normally my salads consist of more toppings and salad dressing than veggies (which is normally just lettuce). And I had some fresh pineapple that was TOO sweet! Wow...if I can just keep this up...

I went for a 2 hour walk, when it would take all the energy I had to go to the corner store.

Scheduled an appointment for a haircut this evening that I could never have pulled off with my puffy face of a few months ago.

It's sort of a shag style and I have a wide jawline so hope it doesn't make me look too butch (I'm actually a pretty fem hippie lady).

But I always admired this style and now I think my face is ready for it.

Does anyone else have a boney butt?!!??!

Not that I'm complaining or anything. But I've noticed when I sit on hard surfaces, even the porcelain thrown, my butt is feeling more boney... I don't have as much cushion anymore! :o

My chiropractor even said something about it last night - he's a good family friend and he said, "wow! there's hardly anything back there anymore"! We both started laughing and I told him my butt was getting boney!

I think it was JenB who posted she was no longer "Obese" she was "Overweight" according to BMI...... Well, I'm no longer "Morbidly Obese", I'm just "Obese". YAH! I've been classified as Morbidly Obese for over 15 years. Feels great to get rid of that morbid word! :D
