I would just really like to get down to 200 so I have some "wiggle room" and can plan on keeping my weight between 200 and 210 (or, preferably, 195-205, but I'll take what I can get at this point). |
Question: How do you weigh yourself? IE: I have always weighed first thing in the morning, without clothes. Since I am losing my weight for me, I still weigh every morning. BUT... Weigh ins at the center are twice a week and (usually for me) in the middle of the afternoon, so like yesterday, I weighed at home and my weight was 142.5, but by the time I got to MRC, I had eaten Breakfast and lunch, as well as drinking water all morning, so my weight for them was 145.5 (still a loss from last wi). Now... This morning when I weighed, my scale (calibrated like thiers) says 141.5. Since I know morning weight is my true weight and the one I go by in my daily life, I want to claim this number as my weight, but feel like I am cheating, because theirs will be a bit more than mine when the next weigh in happens, so if I say I lost 4lbs this week, but theirs says 3lbs..... we both are right, but which one do Y'all claim??

I am so glad I did it. I am also glad I waited until now. There were many people there far heavier and unhealthier than I am, and they were struggling all day. I felt great! I never got hungry during the day, but I got tired. I think I had little hunger because I drank so much water. So when I got tired feeling, I ate a snack...and then felt better. I love learning to read my body better to give it what it needs! (For food, I had a protein meal replacement shake, HNS and apple for breakfast....some nuts for a snack, a chicken salad, orange, cheese and HNS for lunch, and cheese, apple and bar for an after workout refuel to drive home....lots of food, yes...but we danced for 3-4 hours today...so I'm not worried about it). I even got a few compliments on my shape (my back and butt to be specific) and I was super happy about that. Ladies, go for the things you want. Don't be afraid, and don't wait until your goal. I am still 30 pounds away from goal, but did this with ease and felt great about it. |

So this morning, my weight was up 1 pounds! It was at 171! Ugh!
I know some of that is extra water from my extra carbs and working out at my workshop, but really....back into the 170s? Ugh! I made myself promise to stay 100% OP this week....all my food, all my pills, and 4 HNS every day. I am on Spring Break, and its easy to go off plan while traveling and stuff. But I'm going to do it! I want to show a loss next week. |
Hi Ladies - I have been reading your posts for several weeks and decided to join today. I started Pre-Conditioning on MRC and lost 3 pounds. I started on Meta Slim Plus (cream colored sheet) on Saturday March 19. I was told to drink 3-5 HNS a day and I'm finding that it isn't diffiuclt. I like the taste so that helps. I will be weighing in twice a week to protect my investment in the program.
I am excited to join MRC and this forum and hope to learn a lot! I do have a question... for the veggie serving it is 4 oz. cooked or 8 oz. raw. If I mix the veggies on the list up to 4 oz. is that OK? For example, last night I made cucumbers, bean sprouts and cabbage - up to 4 oz. Does anyone ever go over their Olive Oil allotment for the day? Let me know what you think. Thanks! |

Same if mixed...like I have a big 8 ounce salad for lunch of spinach, tomato, cucumber and green onion. I hardly ever use all my olive oil. I use cooking spray to cook my meats and veggies. I only use olive oil in a salad dressing. Fats are full of calories, so I would be careful using more than allowed....as it will give you many extra calories. I think one tablespoon of the olive oil I have at home is 120 calories... |
