Thanks y'all, I really needed to hear some of your experiences to get myself back in the right attitude. I did measure to see how that was going and am losing inches, so that also helped. I am sticking with it!! Just needed to vent my frustration. :D

Candi,

Not sure what your plan allows, but how about a boiled egg, slice of bread or torilla? Transports easily....

GoalBound, I think everyone here has answered what I was going to say. I am not on that menu either. Is V8 splash lite allowed? It's not for MetaSlim.

Keep it up and don't get discouraged!

I weighed in today for the first time and gained .6

I came home and ate 6 funyuns and some rice cakes. oh and two Thin Mints. it felt good. lol And then I proceeded to drink two HNS.....

Ate dinner on plan - chicken breast, brocolli a 1/2 a tortilla. I'm trying, but I didn't realize how much I need a little "extra" there.

I'm going to walk two miles tomorrow and try to refocus. I like the way I feel, but this weight needs to GO!!!!

Yes, I am allowed 1 V8 splash lite in place of one of my fruit servings per day.

I am much better this evening then I was this morning and nothing is going to knock me off plan!! :)

Hi Goalbound,

I've just recently been put on Metabalance. My center said that unlike the other menus that I didn't have to eat all the food if it was too much just to each till satisfied. She said because this plan is more calorie not chemically balanced and is based on the American Diabetes Association diet weight loss is slower than on the other plans. If you only have one kidney they probably won't change your plan because of the extra protein involved in the other plans. Kidneys have to work harder in the processing of protein.

Thankfully, I weighed in today and lost 2.5 lbs. I feel like I'm going through a roller coaster .. plateaus every other week. I can't say enough about the Meta Slim - Two Meal Plan.

Keep pushing through those plateaus!

Please let me know how you do on it. There are very few people on this menu and it is nice to know someone else is. Yeah, I found that out today when I called them, but that's ok. :) Its the snacks that get me, I don't mind the HNS, but I am not hungry and don't want the apple, starch or dairy. I am hoping they will say I can stop those.

FINALLY!

I weighed in today, and I"m down 3 pounds! The 3 days of metaquick really paid off. Makes me really glad I pitched that bagel, rather than giving in.

I have to go with my husband on a work trip a few hours away for two nights, so I'm hoping that eating out that much doesn't throw me off now that I'm back on track.

I decided to reward myself today with a massage and a new pair of jeans (because my "transition" jeans are getting kind of saggy/baggy). Here's a NSV: I'm no longer in plus-size jeans! I went to the regular misses side of Kohl's, and the regular size 16 jeans fit me perfectly. Yay!

Hard boilded eggs and on bread.

or

2 oz cheese (string type cheese is very convient for this) with melba toast or wraped in a tortilla.

AWESOME JOB!!!! Good luck on your trip. Make sure you drink lots of water! Keep focused. It looks like we might be starting maintenance around the same time.

What plan are you on again?

Have you tried to attend any of the classes the center offers? Some have some really good advice about how you view food - because feeling good about eating off plan could be really detrimental to your weight loss.

I also gained on Monday .5 lb - but that seems to be my "pattern". The weekends are very hard for me to get enough water in & then I add exercise which throws everything out of whack. I weighed myself this morning I'm already down 3 - hoping that lasts until tomorrow's weigh in!!

Also the HNS are to plant protein in your body at certain times to keep your metabolism going. So if you're going to have extra make sure you space it out to help your body burn all day (and all night).
