Inches v. Weight lost

I was wondering if there was some kind of ratio for inches lost vs. weight lost. I've looked at the pictures and testimonials of the people at my center, and it seems that most lost roughly the same amount of inches as pounds.
Just curious :)

My Center told me that usually, one lb of fat equals 1 inch. But I take the mrc-6, which triples the amount of inches you lose per pound. So with me, for every pound of fat I lose, I also lose 3-4 inches, which is why I've only lost 14 lbs, but almost 40 inches...

Good to know! I just wonder why I've lost only 21 pounds but over 43 inches. Not that I'm complaining! :P I just kind of like to know what to expect and get better in touch with how my body works.

today I checked in, at 15 lbs and 29.5 inches after 27 days. so my weight loss average per week dropped, but I'll take it, since my clothes are looser.

Congrats FLKat! :)

Nicely done, FloridaKat! I'll tell you, when the scale is being just plain stubborn, I really get a boost from the measurements. At least those go down regularly :) After seeing my results with the tape measure, my husband has his own chart to track his measurements. Of course, he's trying to build mega-muscles, so he's all kinds of pumped up when his measurements go up, whereas I'd probably have an emotional breakdown. Haha!

I agree AshleyRae! I only lost 6.5 lbs in the last 20 days or so, but I lost over 11 inches at the same time--which made me feel so much better!

Congrats ladies - I think we often give the scale too much power and it is great to see you celebrating your inches lost and I can't wait to join you!

Same here! Only 6 pounds the entire month of February, which really got me down. But, the inches lost (12 since last time) made me soooo happy! :)
