I lost 8-10lbs a month. Per week, it went from 0-3. Weight loss is rarely linear. Our bodies sort of fight losses and then will give in. If you're plateaued, look at it as a good sign that your body is fighting you - you're doing something right!

On average since i ramped up the ability to actually tackle the problem i would say around 4-5 pounds a week, i'm giving it everything i have and then some, i swear i have about 2 hours of downtime a day after work and exercise/meal preparation daily duties etc...
I fear it will start to slow as i am having difficulties with maintaining this level of effort. |

I am on day 26. I have lost 13.5 lbs and 9.25 inches. If you average that by week loss it is 3.58 a week. If you average your days like me (and I imagine this is the formula MRC uses...I could be wrong) TotalWL(9lb)/Day(31)=.2903*7(Days in a Week)=2.032 You are losing 2.032 lbs a week on average. |
i'm averaging almost 4 lbs a week, but I'm still in my first month.

They calculated my average the other day and said it was about 4 lbs a week.

Today is my 16th day on the program and I've lost 8 pounds. That averages out to 3 1/2 pounds per week. However, I'm still early in the program.
Right now I'm really enjoying waking up to 1/2 pound loss almost everyday. I was discouraged yesterday, because I gained a pound, however this morning, I lost that pound plus another. So, it all averaged out. I can tell you, that day I woke up with a pound gained, I had not drunk nearly as much water as I should have. I think I had about 12 ounces that day. I think water really makes a difference to help eliminate the fat. |
Thanks for everybody's input!
Mandiana- I think you are right about the water intake, when I don't drink my required water, I notice I don't lose as much, or I gain. |
I started this diet in January. So far I have lost 33 lbs. So I am doing really good. So that is like 4 - 5 lbs a week almost. I still have at least another 30 to go, but so far so good. I want to try and average 15 lbs a month. I work out on the elliptical about an hr a day and I do 96 oz of water. I am hoping to up my work out this weekend, so I can possibly hopefully lose more.
