Insulin resistant weightloss help please

Curious what you have found to be the best ways for losing weight with insulin resistance/metabolic syndrome? Could you leave me some tips? Thanks so much!

I'm insulin resistant, and I've had great success so far on the Metabolic Research Center program. It is a high-protein diet based on the glycemic index.

I use the Weight Watchers Momentum plan and keep the carbs as complex as possible -ie. no white rice, only multigrain products and zero simple carbs from processed foods- I don't care what the points are, that stuff is poison to us. When I do have carbs that have a higher glycemic index I try to balance it out with protein. So far so good - and my blood sugar is soooooooo much more stable :)

South Beach all the way.

Ive done weight watchers and calorie counting and suzzane somers..ive tried all different kinds of shakes and i find the easiest for me is South Beach. I feel way more in control now because my blood sugar isnt everywhere and i dont crave stuff like i used to and ive lost weight..so..im happy with it.. i will probably never go back to eating a high carb type lifestyle..

Thanks Ladies. I have done Sugar Busters in the past and am thinking I may do it again but I want to check out some others before deciding.
