Default Decided to join Sprying

and head over to Weight Watchers. I determined that even with following the MRC plan 100% perfectly I would not meet my goal by the end of my time and what Debi posted earlier helped me finalize my decision.

I'm paraphrasing but essentially I have to be committed to be successful. I think I can commit to weight watchers much more fully over the long term.
This weekend with Thanksgiving and traveling over the weekend I know I can stay OP on WW and I felt like the prospect would be near impossible for me on MRC. I'm no longer dreading it completely. I need the structure in order to lose weight. But I've found I also need more flexibility to be happy and I think weight watchers will provide that.

I talked to a counselor at MRC before making my final decision. She was supportive and mentioned a "Black Friday promotion" of resigning for 10 more weeks for $59 which almost had me but then she said, "You sound like you really would like this to be over quickly." I thought it over and putting those two together was what did it for me. I can spend the same money and sign up for 12 weeks of WW online and have it be over now and still be taking care of myself and working toward my goals.

I think MRC is a great program. Clearly many people have done well with it. I just don't think it's a good fit for me.

All the best to all of you. Thank you so much for all of your support.

i completely understand, this program is very restrictive and ww is more real life and eating in proportions. i think that mrc will give me a good start to my weight loss but when my contract is up in march i am going to do ww also. goodluck!!!

I am also off to WW. MRC has been great for me but i have stalled over the past 4-6 weeks and only taken off about 3 lbs. I know that is not bad but not what the program promises and if my loss is going to be a little slower then I want more variety. I still have a bit to go and I want to exercize more. I love to work out hard so with WW I can and give myself extra points for the exercize. I have to call my center tomorrow, I will miss them and all of you. I will definately stop in from time to time.

Debi, I espicaly thank you for all your practical no nonsense information.
