new member of mrc
hi i am a new member to mrc. i joined on wednesday and am going to the class on friday. had to call my counselor today because i was still hungry all the time and she said to eat more protein. how did everyone else do with preconditioning.:)

Yes, if you are hungry, you should incorporate added protein. I am completely not surprised they would advise you of that. Remember, the plan is really the most difficult in the very beginning -- while your body adapts to a new game plan, you likely will experience some strangeness, but it will pass. Once you begin the REAL plan, you will be adding hns (protein drinks, puddings, soups) and that will go along way to helping you feel satisfied. They will likely recommend you have 5 per day, and if they do, make sure you consume everyone of them, as they to accelerate weight loss. Good Luck.

thanks for the advice. it will try the more protein to get through until i change plans

And be sure to drink drink drink drink water! Get yourself used to 90-120 ounces of water a day during this time. You will need it all!

ok thanks i have been drinking about 80 oz but wasn't sure how much is too much water, but i will definately increase it if i am still feeling hungry. today is much better since i increased my protein:)

i went in yesterday for my initial weight in and i am down 6.5 pounds. i am so excited to see that the program is working. i have found that as i am getting used to it i am not as hungry and am starting to feel more energetic:)
