Need some help, tips, advice...ect:)!!
Hi all. Just wanted to get some help or some advice.
I was on metabolic from june 09 till now...but prettty much from june 09 till may 2010....lost all my weight..was a perfect size and was at my goal of 119/120ish and then all of a sudden had a relapse..and starting eating at night..I would eat perfect during the day but then at night..i would get up and eat...and wasn't even hungry....now its november and i HATE myself..i am about 145 now and i actually just singed up to do HCG drops to get 15 or so pounds off...i will admit i stopped drinking water, doing the drinks and pills and all... I just need some encouragement and to hear I can get down to that weight again...because right now i hate how i look, feel , clothes feel and everything..and being a college kid...a young girl...all those things are important.. hope to get some feeback from all of you amazing ladies.. |
Hi bc!!! I know about relapse, but really the only thing to do is get back on the wagon.

Thanks, I think that's whappened....I had reached 119 and they didn't really put me on maintenance...I just stayed on menu to keep losing weight..which was the problem I believe and my body was just starving...but hopefully this go around will be ok...20 pounds...it might take a while..but I can do it!

As another college student (well I'm in grad school...but I'm still in school)...you need to find something that drives you outside of motivation.
I would also lose weight the first part of semesters until midterms and stress hit, then I would lose my motivation. Then I would fall off the wagon until spring semester started.... We talk a lot on here that motivation goes away. It is just a mindset of sticking to it...no matter what. You might want to read some of the posts yesterday on the November thread...we talked about having a good mindset to get it done. Good luck! But I would encourage you to rethink the HCG signup....do it the healthy way! |
I know we aren't suppose to talk about the HCG...drops..but is it ok to ask why not go that direction?

because 500 calories a day is not generally accepted as being healthy ... each individual has to make their own decision.

Hoping to get down to 120....but I think 125-130 is a better range for me.. Thanks ladies. |
My daughter did the drops with 500 calories, lost some weight and put it all back plus more. A 500 calorie diet is the road to disaster, your body will start to consume its own muscle. It will destroy your metabolism. Healthy is the way to go.

One more note..if you do the other route and quit and go back to eating the way you have been..you will gain it back quick and then some. That's a major downfall. I've done it twice and don't want to do it again. I lost 12 lbs in 3 weeks and gained it back in 2 weeks time.

Hey, i'm new here so i don't really know how this works. But i HAD to reply. cas. i know about relapse its not even funny. Im recovering at the moment. Dont put of going back on your diet. i was 150pounds and relapsed to 200! i know.. because i kept putting it of, learn from my mistake. go for it! you can do it
