I was reading a few other threads and didnt know if you guys still did (or do) the buddy "thing"?

I was thinking it would be cool to be buddy'd (lol) up with someone and send emails or text messages (what ever the 2 people decided on) and have some support as needed throughout the day, weekend, etc..

Now...I know that is what we are here for but I was thinking along the lines of those who maybe cant get online during the day or maybe are traveling, etc...

Anywaysssss..I am game for this if anyone is willing :)

If others want to do this maybe we could come up with a way to set up buddies together..perhaps like the 1st 2 people are a buddy couple , then the next two are buddy couples, etc.

i think that is a great idea. I'm so in if you or anyone want to buddy up. I love sharing my failures and successes, and might be helpful to someone, but there isn't anyone around me in my life right now that I can share that with.

I'd like to have a buddy too. It'd be great to know more frequently that we're not going this alone.

I'd be up for the buddy thing, I'm online a lot - I've got a diet journal on LJ and totally would be cool for texting as well.

i'd be up for it. could really use some focus and can help others too.

does anyone have ideas on how to buddy up? By 1st request/1st answer? location? starting weight? preference of support (online/email/text/snail mail(lol) )..

I am thinking 1st request for a buddy/1st answer for a buddy may be the easiest and we could post on the board when a "buddy couple" is made and keep a tab in case someone needs to drop off or change..etc?

I'm here online alot and love to support everyone, but would feel bad if i had a buddy and then neglected them...so I'll stick to a general cheerleader! :)
