Thoughts on LUNCHMEAT

I know we are not supposed to eat lunch meat because it is so processed, but what about deli meats like DeLusso that are more organic and less processed. Can we have some of that? It is just so much easier than cooking a chicken breast some nights. :)

Boar's Head low sodium Golden Classic chicken
Boar's Head low sodium turkey breast
Boar's Head low sodium lacey swiss

My understanding is that this are permissible on program, but only use a couple of times a week. These Boar's head products are wonderful! But check it with your center. I enjoy 1-2 times a week. Great for when time is hard to come by. All the best, Jill

I stray from lunch meat, simply because most of it seems to be loaded with sodium. As Joy2MeNu listed, those are decent lunch meat that works in a pinch, but I wouldn't eat it every day.

I was told oven roasted turkey from the deli was allowed...but only twice a week. I just drink more water the days I have it.
