Struggling Really bad :(
 

Hey everyone,

So I've been OP for about a month and a half and am only down 8 lbs. It seems like every time I get on a roll I end up getting sick. This past week the center had me to metaquick for 3 days, which dropped me 1.5 pounds! yay! But then 2 days off of that I got really sick, was able to drink hardly any water and couldnt eat anything :( I ended up in the hospital and now that I'm back home eating on plan again I'm back up 2.5lbs :( I'm afraid to go back and WI at the center.... Any advice?

I am so sorry you are having such a tough time. You might want to checkout the thread above your post from titled "Don't want to go back" People gave her some great ideas. The main one being the center is there to help you. If there is a consultant there that you prefer call and make an appt with her to talk about your struggles.
This is a very strict program. My consultant told me even rinsing your mouth with listerine, because of the alcohol can throw you off. You might want to diary everything you are putting in your mouth for a week and show it to your center to see if there is something you are missing. The water is very important. If I don't drink it I notice a big difference.

Sorry to hear you're struggling! Have you talked to your doctor about MRC? I'm just wondering if there's any tie-in with the plan that MRC could adjust for you. Is it possible you're having some sort of allergic reaction to something? Talk to them about being sick and see if they have any insight about it.
