stuck

Anyone stuck on a plateau??? I seem to stay at the same weight for 2 weeks at a time and then only loose 1-2 pounds. Frustrated. Any ideas or words of advise?? I'm 10 pounds from the target weight....nothing's moving.

I think part of it has to do with how close you are to goal... the scale moves a lot slower for me these days since I've gotten so close.

And I wouldn't exactly call 2 weeks a plateau, I think sometimes your body needs some time to adjust to weight loss and it might hold onto some weight for a while. I went through a 3-month stall once and was soooo frustrated, but I'm so glad I kept at it. Give it time, keep up the good work, and it'll start moving again. You can do it! :)

I can feel your pain. I was at the same weight for 2 weeks too.. it seems like I'd go up and down, up and down but end up at the same number. I've really upped my water intake and maxed out all my HNS. I think it's helped. I've been down according to my scale for the last two days. I go weigh today, so hopefully it'll stay down. Hope your scale moves. I agree with PPost. You do loose slower the closer to goal you are..

Good Luck!!!

The last 10 pounds seemed even more challenging to me too. Hang in there and keep your persistance at the program...eventually it will move again. My only thoughts are upping your water and making sure you aren't eating the same things every day...changing it up seemed to help when I was in your shoes.

I lose then stall for 10 or so days then lose a bit more. For me it's been pretty consistent in that manner - I just try to maintain my commitment knowing the scale should catch up.
