I understand where you are coming from as this diet is a whole lot more expensive than I originally thought it would be when you start adding any of their supplements.
I haven't had a problem with hunger. Instead of an appetite suppresent why don't you consider psyllium husks; they do fill you up. I am copying and pasting a post I just wrote on it for you to look at. Psyllium can bulk up to 50times its size which is why you need to drink lots of water with it and why it helps with hunger.
Subject: Constipation & Fiber
Never thought I would be writing on this subject! There isn't much fiber in the MRC diet which is why the consultants are always asking if we're constipated.
