Measurements
 

Quick question. When I was measured I was told that I lost two inches off my arms. She only measured one arm so did she mean two inches off that arm or are they assuming you lost the same amount on the other side? Same thing with my thigh area. She said I lost 5 inches, does that mean both legs or one? Sorry...confused.

I would think they would measure both limbs. I am trying to remember if they did both sides on me or just one.. Now that I think of it, I think they just did the one side.. So I guess they figure you lost the same on both. What got me was when they measured my neck and ya know what? I lost fat off my neck. I know this because when I got my C Pap machine they measured my neck at that time.. So this is all kind of interesting.. Congrats on the inches gone! Good job..

I had never had my neck measured until I got OP. I guess I just didn't realize there was that much fat in my neck...strange thing to be told you lost inches from your neck, huh?

Yeah that kind of cracked me up.. There are other places I would rather lose inches though.. hheee

Thx for the info. I thought they meant off both sides but wanted to make sure. It's strange where we lose from sometimes!

I am having my first measurement this next monday and i will ask about how they measure and let you all know.

They only measure on one side. Its not a complete body inches lost, it's an estimate based on the beginning measurements they take. They should measure the same side every time though. I know they do my right side because it's my dominant side.

Also, try to remember where on your torso they do those measurements so that you can help get the tape in the right place. I know that I only get measured once a month or so and they measure people every day, so how can i expect to remember where on my body the tape should sit. I'll remember for them :)
