Would it be possible to get the menus you do have from you? I'm considering the program and would love to see what it looks like beforehand.

I learned a "secret" from my counselor the other day: MRC meals are supposed to be 60% protein, 20% carb, 20% fat. I find it hard to get this much protein each meal - that is why the HNSs are so important. They are for the most part, just protein (15 grams protein times 4 calories per gram equals 60 calories) so do not skimp on using them to get enough protein.

Hmmm. I wonder what I eat that is fat for lunch. Chicken, green beans, and an apple.

In the back of the MRC Cookbook, it lists Compositions of Foods and says 4 oz Chicken breast has 36 grams protein and 4 grams fat. That is why when I went on maintenance it was so hard to get enough protein - except for HNSs, most protein sources have either fat or carbs too. I still use some HNSs and also a pure whey isolate protein powder my husband gets from ProteinFactory.com that I make my own shakes with.

Which whey isolate protein powder do you like from this website?

We buy the CMF Whey Isolate unflavored and unsweetened just as Protein Factory gets it from Glanbia. It is nice that Protein Factory will mix it with things to your request. We just feel we can do that at home with what we want. Besides we get a reduced price because they do not have to repackage it - we get the whole 15 or 20 kilogram bag for $300 to $400 every 3 or 4 months. jeanette

Menu

Hi I really need a copy of the 30 pound in 30 days menu. Could someone e-meil it to me please. booratsmom at yahoo dot com. (wouldnt take my email any other way) Thanks in advance. Have lost 45 pounds but would like to get a jump on the holidays by a quick loss for the next few weeks.

Razorbackbritt 12-05-2010 04:22 PM

Booratsmom The 30 pounds in 30 days goes along with using HCG drops. The drops are unhealthy and the board doesn't allow us to discuss them.

The menu that accompanies those is less than 500 calories a day. So unless you sign up to get the drops...the menu won't do you any good. However, some of our members using the green menu (listed in this thread somewhere) lose 2-5 pounds a week...so if you follow that, you will have success.

Good luck!

Help Please! I lost my Menu!

Help Help Please!!

I am supposed to start my green menu tomorrow and I can't find it...not sure if the kids got ahold of it or if it accidentally got thrown away but I'm freaking out. I have a meeting all day tomorrow and cannot get to my local center. If I can't get a copy, I'm just going to do my blue menu again. Any help would be SOOOO appreciated!

Thanks!

For some reason, there are 2 menu threads. I found the green menu posted in the other thread, so I'm reposting it here. Because I like to be helpful like that.
:D

See attachment.

I need menus that I am missing and I am willing to share the menus that I have

Hi, everyone. I have done MRC a few times in the past but never got to stabilization. I want to give it a try again but I would like to get a stablization and maintenance menu. Also, if anyone has any of the other quick weight loss menus (not sure what they are called). I have some menus I can share as well; green, beige, vegetarian and I think I still have blue and yellow. I will get them out and email them this week to anyone that needs them. Thanks!

goodolddays 01-14-2011 11:44 AM

I would really love to get copies of the menus. I can get most of the other products online. But cannot seem to get the menus. If you have any you can post them that would be great. The ones that are on here already I cannot seem to open.

Thanks

Does anyone have any copies of the menus for men, or know how our menus need to be altered to work for men?

My husband would like to try the diet with me. :) My center had mentioned to me once before that men are expected to eat larger portions than we are given on the metaslim menus, so I was curious as to what they give to men.

You can email me at sun_angel79 at yahoo.

Thanks!

I told my center that my dbf was doing this with me and they told me that the only alterations would be to the protein. She said to increase the protein. For example, instead of my 4oz he gets 6oz. I hope that helps :)
