Anyone doing Meta Balance?

I was thinking of trying this plan since I ALWAYS seem to be hungry! Any tips?

Hummmmm, well I'm not sure what Meta Balance is BUT...I am on day 7 of the blue menu...almost to the green menu and I take: All Day, MRC6, Corti Trim, Flax and Multi (all on plan) as well as my own additions of D, Gelatin and a Hair Skin Nails...I do 4 HNS a day and have found that cravings are non-existent...what are you craving? maybe I can think of a good alternative :)

meta Balance is usually for diabetics. It's whre you are eating 6 x a day which includes 3 snacks. I'm not CRAVING anything. I'm HUNGRY....stomach growling hungry. Big difference. Cravings for junk and sugar have been gone for quite awhile. I'm usually hungry about 2 hrs after I eat!

Are you drinking enough water? I find that I definitely get hungry earlier if I haven't been drinking water consistently between meals. Are you weighing your portions to be sure you're getting your full portion of food? You might also talk to your counselor about the timing of HNS and adding the fiber drink. Personally I haven't found the fiber to help much with keeping hunger away longer, but I've read that it helps others.

I bet if you checked with the office you could eat cucumbers throughout the day when you get hungry. As long as you are eating them plain (if you can stomach it...hehe...) I think they count as a free food and won't throw you off plan...but will give your stomach something solid to ease the hunger pains...

I switched to meta balance and feel much better. My blood sugar was dipping too much on the beige plan. My WL slowed down a bit but I feel better so it's worth it...

I get real hunger pangs too on the green menu and drink the fiber supplements in between meals but I'm hoping this is something that will go away as my body adjusts.

My blood sugar doesn't drop at all. This is one problem this diet has helped me with.

As long as being hungry doesn't trigger me to overeat or eat off plan, I'm okay with it.

I am diabetic and would love to review the META BALANCE menu. Is there anyone who might be able to send a copy to me? I am currently on the beige menu, but would really like to compare. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joy2MeNu - I will send you a scanned copy just send me a private message with your email...I have the Meta-Balance Three Meal Plan- this is apparently for individuals under 200, so the breakfast, lunch & dinner servings are smaller...ie. 3oz meat and not 4oz. I will send you a scanned copy of the green menu as well because the breakfast, lunch and dinner portions for the Meta Balance Phase I (over the 200 pound range) is the same - as I have been told.

metabalance

Metabalance is more food but doesn't give as fast results. I would talk to your counselors about controling hunger first with the other one.

I was placed on the Meta Balance for the first 6 weeks. Barely lost 1/2 lb a week, then they put me on the green menu and lost 2+ lbs a week. Talk to the staff and share your concerns. That's what you are paying them for. Good Luck!
