Hey ... someone mentioned a get-together for those of us in the state of Nebraska. Anyone interested in something later this summer? Maybe either the outlet mall in Gretna or Mahoney. My weekends are pretty booked up until mid-July. But I think it might be a good mini-goal for us!

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Yes! Lets totally do it! In my opinion the Gretna mall has gone Majorly downhill, there are hardly any stores there anymore. Mahoney would be fun or whatever...lets plan on it!

I wrote it down but lets verify it before the date gets here! I hope several of us can make it!

This all sounds like fun! Do you have to have any special passes to get into Mahoney? I have only been there once for a friend's niece's bday party.

Hey....this sounds great....I knew we could get this going.....Let me check on the 16th of Aug....not sure when I put in for vacation...I will know tomorrow when I get to work.....I think you need a park permit at Mahoney, is that correct? I think you can still get day passes....I'm not sure though. I had no idea Gretna was not a cool place to shop anymore....I haven't been there in years. I'm getting old...ugh!

You need a Nebraska State Parks permit. But you can get a 1 day pass for just a couple of bucks. Just think ... we'll do a "reunion" next summer at the pool and bring the family!! haha.

Count me in, ladies! I'd love to meet you all face to face!! Mahoney's a great idea. We could also do the Lauritzan (sp?) Gardens or the zoo. I'm up for anything :)

We were thinking something between Omaha and Lincoln so all the Lincoln chicks could make it. The mall went to ****. That only leaves Mahoney, SAC museum or the porn store. LOL

Hey....if there is 12 of us, we could all do a "Calendar Girls" calendar....but with clothes on of course...don't want to put that porn store out of business. It would be fun to meet at Mahoney and all bring our walking shoes and enjoy a nice walk....and of course all pack a picnic lunch with our favorite MRC lunch. Then we could start making it a semi annual meeting or maybe even more often...I would love to meet all you fabulous skinny, or soon to be ladies!!!

I met one of the nicest Cornhusker ladies this weekend....Jace1234...she is so delightful....we had a nice "healthy" lunch and chatted and shared stories about outselves....it was so nice....now I can't wait to meet the rest of you all.....

We did have a wonderful time and Fiftieslady is super nice too! We all have to get together, we would have so much fun! MAybe by that time we would be brave enough for swimsuits and a dip!

I think I will have to pass on the swim suit this summer Jace....don't think I will be ready for that...but next year, I will get a thong bikini....kidding of course....it will be fun to meet all the Husker Ladies here though....I bet everyone is so nice...just like you!!! :hug:

I would be interested depending on the date. I work odd hours so do not work around me.
