Don't fear stabilization...you can always tweak your end weight later....I hear you on needing snacks though....3 meals a day just seems like torture...but I'm making it through it....7:40 and still at work...2 hours and 40 mins late for dinner....ugh....and I'm not even home yet!!!

well today is weigh-in....i go in around lunch, as soon as i leave work.....Last week i lost 3.5 pounds, i know i prob cant expect ANOTHER huge number 2 weeks in a row though ! Im hoping to see a number thats finally in the 130's...i would only have needed to lose a pound to get there.... Ive been on plan since last weigh-in, but i dont FEEL like ive lost weight.....we'll see... im keeping my fingers crossed, and feeling a little stressed about the whole thing.... I only paid for a 5 week program so i dont have time for a "plateau" Worse comes to worst, and the lady at the center said i might be able to stay on program an additional one or two weeks at MOST if i need to...I signed on for 10 ounds, but now that im almost there, i think id really like to loose alittle more, maybe another 5-8 pounds...i suppose i could pay the extra 99 dollars to re-enroll if im not where i want to be, plus i would also like a few pounds of cushion, just in case i gain a little back during stabilization/maintenance....
What is everyone up to this weekend?!?! Big plans?? my daughter is going camping on friday night at a local state park that does a kids camp out thing with the park rangers, so it will be just me and my BF all BY OURSELVES!! Wahoos!! whatever will we do.... Actually, we'll prob fall asleep at 8:00 pm, like always! Other than that, i dont know what im going to do to keep myself busy this weekend and stay away from the fridge.... ill figure something out- hopefully the wether holds up. Weve been having severe storms every afternoon for the past couple weeks....tornados every day (very weird, especially her in the metro denver area.......used to seeing them out east on the plains, but not in the city so much!)

Poo!!
I just got back from weigh-in...I only lost 1/2 pound!! I stay perfectly on plan all week, and i only lose HALF a pound?!?!?! I KNOW i should be happy i lost ANYTHING, and didnt gain, but i was SO looking forward to being in the 130's for the first time in as long as i can remember!! I need to not lose my focus you guys...Plateaus are normal... losing only a half pound after losing 3.5 a week ago is normal.... I came home, made my DD a PB&J sandwich, and the i LICKED the knife ( something I havent allowed myself to do for over two weeks....Angry at myself....one lick of peanut butter wont hurt me....it was DELICIOUS.....my game plan?? keep on doing EXACLTY what ive been doing....OP everyday...I think im going to stop trying all the delicious recipes and go back to the basics basics.....Hard boiled eggs, SALADs, grilled chicken and fish, toast, no cinnamon/splenda/oil toast.... no coleslaw with MRC mayo, no breakfast casseroles with cheesey goodness..... i will try this again for a week, see how next weigh in goes.... Im sorry, i dont mean to act like its the end of the world, but i only have a little more than 2 weeks left for the 5 week program i paid for...i dont have TIME for a plateau!!!!!!!

Plateau's blow...think I'm at one too....I didn't lose anything this week...gained .2 lbs...but I was wearing slightly heavier clothes so I say my weight didn't change at all...
I had a barbeque to go to today....a wedding tomorrow...and my daughter's bday party Sunday...cake cost me $50 and I don't get a bite....ridiculous!!
I'm ready to just wake up in the morning and be 130...LOL...I missed dinner Friday night and I know that's going to be a huge set back.....ugh!!!
Well anyhow...I would recommend for your piece of mind...if you can afford it...to spend the extra $99 on more time if you need it...I think if they tackl a week or two on complimentary though you'll be ok...especially b/c you will lose some weight on stabilization...but most of all don't stress about it...that'll make it so much harder...so if $99 gives you piece of mind I say do it...you deserve it...this is only temporary...and it's a heck of a lot cheaper to do it one time the right way then to spend money left and right yo-yo dieting....
Camping...well it is that time of year...we go camping as a family a lot over the summer...we're ready to start...well my husband is ready to start...but boy it's a lot of work LOL It's a lot of fun too though... It'll have to warm up just a tad before we can start that...

PS I find I do a lot better when I stick to the basics and don't get too fancy with recipes...also find it helpful to skip the alternative foods that they limit....like you can have beef x # of days...or meal replacement bars x # of day...or creamies once a day...if I stick to the basics and don't add in the alternatives too much I see better success...but to keep from going crazy I'll usually add in some of the alternatives....better than going off program....good luck!!!

I feel like crap... not emotionally or anything... just physically icky... oh well back on track tomorrow LOL don't break down like me ladies...big set back on the scales tomorrow...oh boy!! But boy it was good...real good...really really good... but I am really looking forward to being op tomorrow because I do feel a heck of a lot better physically eating op...so lesson learned...

Oh, no, Shelby! But the 'cake' sounds so good and the 4 yr old excitement was probably quite contagious! I know what you mean about not feeling good after eating off program. I made an apple pie with whole wheat crust but sugar with the apples for my birthday back in May and had it a-la-mode too! I wish I had a "side chute" so I could have the pleasure of eating like you did yesterday but instead of it going into my stomachs etc, it could go down the side chute and be gone! OKay, Today is a new day and ON PROGRAM we will all go marching on . . .

Yuppers!! Monday is a new day...on program and I feel sooooooo much better today than I did yesterday...more energy...more clear headed...and I feel good just for being in control of myself....I had no control yesterday at all...LOL!! So op...my new resolution has to be logging my food...I haven't logged a bit in two weeks and I've done ok avoiding it with the center for now but I can only avoid them for so long....lol...so today I will log my food...back on track...completely....I guess I just figured since I'm eating what I'm supposed to what's the sense in writing it down...but I know it drives them nuts at the center so I'll need to start doing that...
Good Luck this week ladies!! (And Mkroyer, have fun running...my husband was one of the top runners in ny state about 10 years ago when we were in high school....he swears it's great but I never got into it...just seems like a lot of work...LOL!! Bless you for having the energy to do it!!)

DietinAgain-- i decided to create my OWN food log/marathon training log...i HATE the food log they gave us at MRC, so...im just logging my milage and have columns (with more room) set up for b4 breakfast, brkfast, am snack, lunch, pm snack, dinner, after dinner...i left room to right down when im drinking water and taking supplements and when im exercising, what times, all that stuff.....hopefully having an easier sheet will lead to me actually USING it!!!! Keeping a log is a good idea! Keep at it! Good luck!
BTW, i took your suggestion-- no more fancy recipes, and add ins..going back to the good 'ol basics!! well try for a week, see what happens!

I too didn't like MRC's food diary page - glanced once at it and made my own spread sheet. I'd like to see what yours looks like and I would be willing to send you mine for you to see. (now if I can figure out how to PM you and Shelby! later today, I'll work on that) I think writing it down really helps me. I get very confused when things change but now that I am on the green sheet for the long haul, I'm getting better at remembering without looking every meal.

I too am on green and it gets easier to remember....I did good yesterday..until 10 o'clock last night...then I had a huge piece of cake and a piece of fruit sugar cookie cream cheese cool whip vanilla pudding frosting delight...whoops...bad end to a good day...in my defense I paid $50 for the cake for my daughter's bday and on my cheat day that's the only thing I didn't get to eat...I had one of her cupcakes but not a piece of her yummy delicious cake...and then my husband mentioned yesterday that the sugar cookie pizza concoction was soooooo much better day two...so then I couldn't get that out of my mind...today's another day...lol...oh boy!! Lets see how this goes
If you figure out how to PM I'd love to see some journaling ideas...I hate journaling my food...seems so silly writing bread next to bread...duh i ate bread...well anyhow more laziness on my part than anything...well not laziness just lack of timeness...my job is crazy demanding...and I rarely get a 15 minute break...or lunch break...and I work late all the time...only reason why I'm on here right now is b/c I'm on hold!! FOREVER!! LOL Shoot...phone call done..back to work!!
